| MASP-2

Mannose Associated Serine Protease 2 (MASP2) is an enzyme encoded by the MASP2 gene. The encoded protein is a member of the trypsin family. This mannan-binding lectin (MBL) recognizes patterns of neutral carbohydrates, such as mannose and N-acetylglucosamine. Ra-response factor (RARF) is a complement-dependent bactericidal factor that binds to Ra and R2 polysaccharides expressed by certain gut bacteria. Alternate splicing of this gene produces two transcriptional variants encoding two RARF components involved in the complement activated mannan pathway.

| Recovery

The recovery of Human MASP-2 spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity
